Puna Girl is a handcrafted wellness and skincare line created from a deep reverence for ancestral wisdom, traditional methods, and the lush bounty of the Big Island. Every jar, bottle, and balm is made by hand in small batches on our family farm in Puna, using locally sourced, organic, and wildcrafted ingredients—from grass-fed tallow to tropical botanicals, fermented infusions, and essential oils.

The name Puna Girl celebrates where it all began: in the lush rainforests of Puna, where barefoot living, jungle dancing, beekeeping, and wild foraging shape everyday life. It’s the spirit of this place that lives in every product we make.

At the heart of our skincare is grass-fed tallow, a nutrient-dense, skin-compatible fat rich in vitamins A, D, E, and K. It’s what your great-grandmother might have used before skincare became commercialized—because it works. Tallow closely mimics the oils your skin naturally produces, making it deeply moisturizing, anti-inflammatory, and perfect for sensitive, dry, or aging skin. We whip it with tropical oils, essential botanicals, and aloha to create decadent body butters, facial moisturizers, and balms that heal, protect, and glow.
